A good nude shoe is a must-have in my wardrobe, especially as the weather is warming up and I’m getting ready for summer. It’s a no-brainer, fail-safe shoe option for paring with neutrals. I love this Aldo sandal that’s available at DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse. I’m wearing it with a cream linen suit and a rock and roll tee. It makes a tomboy look sleek enough to wear for an evening out. I was so glad to find the perfect shoe to wear with my favorite suit. I also love nude shoes with miniskirts and dresses in the summer because they can give the illusion of mile long legs! It’s a styling trick you see a lot of celebrities using lately. No matter how you style them, it’s hard to go wrong with a classic sexy heel.
Perfect AM Skin Prep with Olay
This post has been made in collaboration with Olay, as always, all thoughts and opinions stated are my own.
I had been in a slump with my moisturizer up until recently. With the changing of the seasons, all of my winter creams were beginning to feel far too heavy and greasy on my skin. I was having problems with my makeup pilling, my face getting oilier by the minute, and just feeling like my skin wasn’t getting it’s needs addressed. I had to find the perfect moisturizer to suit my need.
SEA OF SHOES QUICK GUIDE TO AUSTIN
Hi guys! We just got back from a quick 48 hour trip to Austin. It was such a blast and I am dying to go back soon (after South by Southwest madness that is). I had a lot of requests for a guide to Austin and I am more than happy to point you in the direction of some of my favorite stops. It is a big city, and changing faster than I can keep up with. I am always amazed to discover new things to fall in love with when I am there! If you have any other recommendations to add on, leave them in the comments, I would love to check them out. I hope this helps if you have any upcoming trips planned to ATX.
Leopard Dream Coat
I have been living in this House of Harlowe 1960 leopard faux fur coat from Revolve all week. I love the sixties “Hollywood starlet on a bender” vibe this coat has! The faux fur is such a fine quality too. This coat just went on sale, so make your move if you love it too!

Weekend to Weekday
I’ve been inspired to “shop my own closet” lately and I’ve been revisiting some pieces. I haven’t worn in a while, like this vintage corduroy skirt. Normally I save this cozy vintage Ralph Lauren sweatshirt for chilly weekends spent inside cooking, but I am surprised at how well it translated to a weekday look!
These shoes are Dries Van Noten Spring 2008 and I love them to death. It’s such an elegant shape and you really can wear these with everything and they look good. I wish Dries would make some sexy summer shoes like this again!
Cherry Bomb
Happy Monday! I was organizing my jean collection this weekend and rediscovered these 1970s flares I’ve had for a long time. They’re so nice with a puff sleeve vintage sweater for a Monday morning errand run! I love being able to put together an easy look like this with clothes I’ve owned and loved for so long. It makes me so happy I still get my wear out of them.

Easy Weekend Beauty Tutorial
Happy Friday everyone! I hope you have a fun weekend planned ahead. I wanted to do a beauty tutorial today for one of my go-to makeup looks. This is an easy, glowy makeup look that makes you look extra awake and bright eyed. It is perfect if you don’t have a ton of time or didn’t get enough sleep the night before (or both, as is so often my case). Flushed cheeks, shimmery eyes, and rosy lips are always my favorite combination to bring life back into my face. Hope you enjoy this tutorial, I touch on a lot of my all time favorite products in this one!
The Katherine Hepburn Trouser
I snagged these gorgeous Ralph Lauren trousers for under $20 recently and have been thinking of different ways to style them. They have such a great Katharine Hepburn-esque silhouette, the possibilities are endless. I definitely see wearing them with a rock tee and white pumps in the near future but for today, a jazzy red striped tee and blazer will do just fine.
