I picked up this 1950s Suzy Perette dress I found at the flea market I went to last week. I have read a few places that Suzy Perette was on of the few companies licensed to reproduce some of Dior’s “New Look” patterns, but I can’t find any verification of this rumor! The dresses they produced in the 1950s were exquisite. One of my very favorite Texas-born designers Victor Costa went on to work under the Suzy Perette label in the late sixties/early seventies. I get very excited when I find a Victor Costa for Suzy Perette label when I’m out hunting vintage! Finding this dress made the vintage dweeb inside me very very happy.

Wearing with Rupert Sanderson heels, leather opera gloves, and a Devi Kroell black gem box clutch. Lipstick is Illamasqua Glamour lipstick in Virgin!
