Inspiration Board and Isao Tomita

Fashion
Jun 3, 2010

Just a mish-mash of some of the images I've been referencing lately…(including Max Ernst's The Robing of The Bride in the upper left hand corner, a 70's British Vogue image of Veruschka up in the right, a Chanel rainbow print  dress with a sequin jacket in the middle towards the bottom, Yves Saint Laurent in Marrakech, Cindy Crawford in a billowing off-the-shoulder cropped blouse, a look from Kenzo this season, Freja in Balenciaga in Vogue Nippon…sorry for not being specific…I can probably track down photographers names if you email me)

I've been up since 4 am, and at some point this morning I managed to stumble upon this 1977 interview with Japanese synth composer Isao Tomita. A very timely find as I've been playing the Snowflakes are Dancing album a lot lately.
As long as I'm doing an inspiration post I'll include some songs from
that album. If you'd care to read the rest of the interview, click here.

*Off-topic for 'Sea of Shoes'? I guess so, but my interest in music is
just as strong of my love of clothes. Enjoy the tunes. His
interpretation of Clair de Lune is my favorite.
