Two months ago I did a shoot in New York for Lucky Magazine to promote Dior Beauty-the shoot was a lot of fun and the December issue just hit the stands today. It's exciting to see the final product! Click below to see the promotion and my outtakes from the shoot.
It was pretty freaky to see your own eye super-sized on screen….
The coolest thing about this shoot was that the photographer used to be Albert Watsons assistant-I'm a big fan of Albert Watson and it was so cool to hear about the photographer's experience working with him during his time at German Vogue…he also showed me Albert Watson's old studio on the way to a location!

The parisian lace shirt and poodle skirt look really suits you. Woah!! that is a really close look at an eye. Is it just me or do you seem to have very little veines on your eyeball.

this article is kind of funny because I’m sure you don’t have the same day meetings and sultry nights out as the working women Lucky is targeted for…you’re not even 21, much less employed with a 9-5. Although you are making a business out of this blog! Your shoot is great, I am just pointing out the irony :-P you probably don’t wear dior make-up, either.

When I see these ads in Lucky, Allure, Marie Claire, etc with a new international It-Girl each time, it always makes me laugh out loud. Such unsubtle, overdone marketing with the faux aura of accessibility. That aside, you look cute and natural in yours, and if you’re going to shill make-up, it may as well be the fabulous Dior. Actually I want to leave this comment regarding your latest post on why you decided on turn off the comment section. I too think it’s a personal style blog so you don’t really necessary need hundreds of people leaving comments saying that you look gorgeous, you look fab, ect, or negative comment neither because like you said it’s your personal style, you are not going to change it for anyone right:). Leaving the comment section off is a good idea, or if not, all comments should be welcomed. Some people admire your style, and some people will find it weird so unless you want to hear the true feedback and allow all negative and positive comments….having comments section and trying to block out negative comments like some bloggers make no sense…good luck with everything.
I worked with Dior many years ago and I must say that their mascara haas always been my very favorite, ever. I have not yet tried Diorshow, but I suspect it is the same mascara formula I fell in love with a decade ago. The brush appears to look the same as well, apart from the outside of the tube which was a bright blue. The eye
shadow is amazing too, a creamy super soft powder. You looked lovely in your shoot and the location was beautiful. I miss being in a city. XO
