This is a big day for my hometown! Chanel is showing the Métiers D’Art collection in my fair city tonight. Chanel has a long standing history here starting with Neiman Marcus. Coco Chanel was given a honky-tonk tour of Texas by none other than Stanley Marcus himself in 1957. I hope to see lots of western glitz and glamour! Dallas lives for Chanel, tonight will go down in history. I’m so excited! Now I must get ready to photograph backstage. Can’t wait to tell you all about it.
Le Bal 2014
I haven’t been back to Le Bal des Debutantes since I debuted in 2009, so I was excited to be able to cover the debs backstage as they prepared for this once in a lifetime evening! The dresses, the debs, the setting! It was all so stunning! I couldn’t wait to share these photos with you. I have to admit, It was much less nerve wracking to be a correspondent of sorts as opposed to being an actual debutante this year. The beautiful debs were absolutely visions of grace and poise.
