WOLF GANG

Fashion
May 5, 2011

My mom got this 80's Krizia wolf sweater at a Salvation Army sale, along with two other Krizia animal sweaters. I had to try them on right away! The wolf looks like hes going to leap off my chest.

Hungry thirsty like the wolf?? Worn with Currtent Elliot jeans and Alaia hiking boots.

I got this pale green nail polish in Japan last year–by Sweets Sweets.

WINDOW SHOPPING

Fashion
May 3, 2011

I did a little online window shopping at Barneys in celebration of our upcoming sweepstakes for Mothers Day. Don't forget to share your mothers day memories with me and my mom for a chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree at Barneys!  Click here to enter.

1. Lucifer Vir Honestus Dentini Ring: I really, really want this ring.  My mom and I both love rose gold, but I'm especially attracted to free from shape and use of the diamonds–Where is my prince charming?

2. Christopher Kane biker jacket:  I'm in love with this sheer lace biker jacket with epaulets from Christopher Kane.  This jacket would go with jeans or over a summery dress.  It's the perfect biker jacket for Texas and warm weather.
3. Rodarte x Opening Ceremony Lost Boys Sunglasses:  I love the snakeskin wrapped frames on these sunglasses and the pink color gives these shades an 80's throwback.
4. Ann Demeulemeester Sandals:  Everyone that reads my blog knows that Ann D. shoes are an essential part of my wardrobe.  The shoes this season really hit the mark.  I love how the straps and buckles come off as intricate and tough at the same time.
5. Leopard Givenchy bag:  I love this Givenchy  Leopard print calf hair duffle with top zip, rolled leather handles and flat leather shoulder strap.  I always love the classic silhouette of the Givenchy bag, and adding leopard makes it extra irressitable!!

BULGARI’S SAVE THE CHILDREN

Fashion
May 2, 2011

It was an honor to be included among the 32 bloggers asked to help raise funds for Bulgari's Save the Children campaign, which helps to provide education for children in need . Bulgari has pledged $ 7.5 million for this campaign!  A purchase of this ring will contribute 75 dollars to Save the Children. It's a beautiful ring for a wonderful cause.

To see the rest of the campaign look here.

I wore it with a Free People velvet jacket and bracelets, Current & Elliot jeans, and Martin Margiela booties from spring 2008.

PRETTY SLEEVES

Fashion
Apr 29, 2011

I love the beautiful sleeve on this blouse from Rugby! I love Rugby so much. I get obsessed with everything Rugby I own. Like those carpenter pants I was wearing so much this winter.

I’m wearing them with Y-3 pants I got years ago that I wear non-stop. The shoes are Prada fall ’06, and were recently given to me by my mom because they’re too small for her now. (Her feet are still growing for some reason…I hope this doesn’t happen to me) This is such a perfect shoe–all of Prada’s shoes from fall ’06 were the best.

A look at this season in shoes

Fashion
Apr 26, 2011

I've been browsing style.com's amazing new accessories library and have been pleasantly surprised by next season's shoes. I hate a boring shoe season. Some of them are really–I mean REALLY out there. Like the Jen Kao acid marble turbo alien stompers above.  Those are special. I wouldn't wear all of the shoes in these collages, but you can count me in on the Jen Kao's, the Pierre Hardy, the blue Thakoons, the Nicholas Kirkwoods, the YSLs, the Phillip Lims, and the Jean-Michel Cazabat biker boots.

TROMP L’OEIL

Fashion
Apr 21, 2011

This is a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier sweater I got at Big Bertha's in Austin a long time ago–so fun!

How cute are these 90's Alexander McQueens!! I got them at a resale store. Such a great shape. I'm really feeling more 90's shoes lately.

I can't help posting a few pictures of Kim–everything she does is so minature and cute. She is the funniest dog. Kim's thing is that when she wants attention she does this very gruff nasally three-stop grunt. It's remarkably loud. Does anyone else's chihuahua do this? It's too funny!

Kim is very comfortable in the car–she goes everywhere with us.

MIU MIU AGAIN

Fashion
Apr 19, 2011

I know it's my 500 billionth time talking about these shoes but I can't help myself! They're too good! I found these great behind the scenes pictures at Miu Miu's website.

Sigh….too dreamy.

Miu Miu also had an insanely cute sparkly shoe bootie on the runway, and I was happy to see that style.com had posted some great up close shots of these.

Oh my god I can't look away from this shoe–it's too perfect.
