Such amazing weather we were having last week here in Dallas! It’s crawling back into the nineties today…phew. I wore this last week while we were out gathering some props for a shoot. I am fanatically attached to this 80s DKNY sweater. I have had it for years but can never give it up. I love a nubby fair isle sweater with a fuzzy wool embroidered 1950s skirt.
Wearing a Brixton red beret with vintage DKNY fair isle sweater with a vintage 1950s skirt, Gucci “Webb” handbag and Office of Angela Scott shoes.
Shopbop is having their Main Event sale…it’s one you’ll want to take advantage of! If you spend under $500 you get 25% off your order but if you spend over $500 you get 30% off. That makes this sale a seriously good time to pick up a major statement coat for the upcoming season. I snagged the leopard Carven coat, I couldn’t help myself.

Mira Mikati Faux Fur Robot Print Coat $655 on sale
Mira Mikati Faux Fur Flower Print Coat $655 on sale
Acne Shearling Red Motorcycle Jacket $1960 on sale
How crazy is this 80s Norma Kamali jumpsuit! I got it at A Current Affair in LA this spring. I’m a total freak for Kamali and bought this right away. It’s such a great piece. I wore it out for dinner last week. When I came out of the bedroom my boyfriend was like, “Calm down Brigitte Nielsen in Cobra!! Where’s Sylvester Stallone!!”. That made me laugh.
Wearing vintage Norma Kamali jumpsuit wiht a vintage silver cuff and Giuseppe Zanotti for Balmain ankle boots.
My mom was recently in St. Petersburg, Florida with her friend Dree Harper…who you may know as the Queen of Pinterest! I was so sad I couldn’t go on this trip. They had an awesome time finding great things for Dree’s house and vintage shopping. Dree found this vintage Alaia dress I’m wearing and sent it my way…how amazing is she! I am obsessed with it…it’s so incredibly made. Thank you so much Dree!
I remember a story about Alaia sizing I heard from a buyer at a boutique here in Dallas. A customer had custom ordered a $20,000 dollar dress insisting that she was an extra small in Alaia. The buyer was skeptical, knowing “no one is an extra small in Alaia”. Sure enough, the dress came and it was impossible to fit into and the store was left with a very expensive dress they couldn’t sell. I remember this story because this dress Dree found is tagged a medium…and it is pretty darn small! Haha.
These shoes are Chloe fall 2008. I want every shoe from this collection…I own three pairs as it is. My mom tracked down the black version of these boots on eBay for a super great price. I want the black leaf boots now too to go with my white version.

I have always loved the combination of brown and navy. This Veda blazer has the most perfect color for fall! These amazing brogues are by the Office of Angela Scott. I’m going to be wearing these all season, I love a brogue for this weather.
Wearing Style Nanda dress with Veda blazer, Office of Angela Scott Mr. Leopold brogues, vintage earrings, and Ferragamo Fiamma bag.
If you’ve been following my blog for a long time, you might have noticed I love to wear the same things over and over again. I’ve had this dress since I was 15 years old. I got it in Tulsa, Oklahoma and it’s too ethereal and dreamy for me to ever part ways with. It appears to be someone’s homemade sewing project.
I’m wearing this dress with another throwback from my closet-the Ann Demeuelmeester triple lace up boots! Definitely still my favorite boots of all time. Wearing with my Polo Ralph Lauren fringe bag.
Also worth noting….I got a new haircut and color! I am liking it a lot!
These boots are some of the all time coolest shoes to me. They are by Rochas and I got them a few years ago, and I still wear them all the time. I wish I had another pair, in case these ever fall apart!
I wore them with an awesome 70s lamb fur cardigan one chilly morning this week. I belted it with an old favorite concho belt, and wore it with a beloved Polo Ralph Lauren fringe bag and a Polo tea dress.
