The Office of Angela Scott is making some of the coolest shoes around right now and luckily for me, Angela’s office is just down the street. I went in to check out the collection and pre-order my dream shoes for spring.Angela has just launched men’s shoes and they are all impeccable. I can’t wait to wear my bumble bee shoes tonight!
SKIRT SUIT
I had a premonition of skirt suits for my new spring look. It inspired me to go vintage hunting and I came up with this amazing 60s orange and plaid mohair skit suit. I have a few more like it coming in the mail! They feel perfect for right now.
Worn with a Meredith Wendell handbag, Manolo Blahnik lace pumps, and a The Fashion Club crop top.
INTARSIA KNITWEAR
I wore my favorite Rugby Ralph Lauren sweater and armwarmer set when I was in NYC this weekend. I have a mini-collection of Ralph Lauren intarsia knitwear, they’re always so wonderful.
Worn with Anine Bing leather pants.
Ralph Lauren Fall 2014 + Polo Collection
I was heartbroken to miss the Ralph Lauren show on the last day of NYFW, no thanks to an insane snow storm that blew me out of the city. As a lifelong Ralph Lauren fanatic that was a bummer. The gowns from the collection were incredible. I was thrilled to see that Ralph Lauren previewed his fall Polo line prior to showing his ready-to-wear. They reminded me of what I used to love from the now-retired Rugby Ralph Lauren collection. It is great to see Ralph’s reinventions of his heritage pieces. Being from Texas the southwestern influence always speaks to me. Great new ideas for styling turquoise here!
Freedom
My mom wearing the Freedom bead with NSF jeans and Celine heels
It was easy for me to choose the bead for my mom from the Pandora Essence collection. Freedom is a value she has always imputed to me from the time I was very young. My mother is a free thinker and free spirit. To say that she is a woman who marches to her own tune would be a massive understatement. She has always worked for herself and refused to be tied down to an office. As a young woman it is so inspiring to have a mother with such an entrepreneurial spirit. She taught me the value of standing on my own and never following the lead of others.

The Pandora Essence collection is made of beads that embody the core values of the wearer. I was so thrilled to choose this bead for mom! You can choose your own bead from Pandora’s website and you can learn more about the collection on their Facebook. Share your Pandora story by using #PANDORAessencecollection and #PANDORAcharm!
Wearing the Freedom and Health beads with a 70s mongolian lamb jacket, J Brand leather pants and RRL belt.
Wearing a Spence camel coat and Golden Goose jeans with the Freedom and Health beads.
SS14 FAVORITES: JUNYA WATANABE
This collection was so fantastic. The shoes caught my eye as they are a bit of a throwback to one of my all-time favorite collections from 2006. I love all of the fringe detail, it inspired me to hunt down vintage fringe skirts and I think I found the perfect 70s version on eBay yesterday. Major score!
The shoes are available at Net-a-Porter and the collection is available on Farfetch.
ADOLFO
Hello from snowy and freezing NYC! This vintage (late 70s) Adolfo jacket arrived just as I was packing my bags for NYFW. It was a little cold to wear it without a coat but I couldn’t resist showing it off in the snow.
Worn with a The Fashion Club crop sweater underneath, a black miniskirt, and Proenza Schouler boots from fall 2009.
PLAID & SABRINAS
Loved taking these pictures with little sister Carol! We both have these boots and are obsessed with them. They are the Frye lace-up Sabrina boots, on sale now by the way. Carol is wearing hers with an adorable plaid dress and I wear mine with a Raquel Allegra dress and a plaid cardigan.
