…to do something different. I imagine these are quite polarizing…personally, I am all about the shoes for fall 2012. Particularly the orangey leather mary janes with geometric printing. I am a 70's girl at a heart!

It's coming along, as you can see! Unfortunately these two great chairs I found at Again & Again were not in these photos because they had to be repaired–I'll just have to reshoot when they get back. My mom was very kind to loan me the tall acupuncture girl sculpture that used to live in our old house. She looks good in my place!

In Barney’s Spring Campaign
It is a great honor to be among the eight amazing women featured in Barney's spring campaign 'Tree Time', shot by Mario Sorrenti, and starring Penelope Tree. This one of those things that I find hard to believe I'm posting…I was a little terrified of being in front of the camera, but the shoot ended up being such a blast and a memory I will hold dear for a very long time.

GIUSEPPE, KING OF BOOTS
I seem to wear black mid-calf boots more than anything else in my closet, so when these mid-calf buckled Giuseppe Zanotti boots popped up on Yoox, I couldn't resist them. I've worn them every day since they got here. Mid-calf boots go with everything and are the most flattering shoe you can wear…how could I say no to these guys??

My Mom’s Place
As I've mentioned before, my mom has just moved into her new place and I am in LOVE with it. It's already changed a lot since we snapped these…take a look at her blog to see how it's coming along!

When I came across this illustration by Megan Inghram, my jaw hit the floor. It really is too amazing for words–I cannot believe how many personal details are hidden in it! I'm holding my chihuahua Kim, wearing my vintage tiger dress and Fantastic Mr. Fox hat, sitting on top of my cat Gish who is wearing my octopus necklace and has my artwork printed on her chest!! My mom recently moved into her new place and I love this crazy green velvet loveseat she put in her bedroom. Doesn't Mr. Paper Mache Tiger look cute next to it? We're having so much fun staying up late decorating our respective spaces.
I'm wearing a 70's polyester disco dress that I've had since I was fifteen or sixteen. It's absolutely one of my favorites!
