TRUE BLOOD BEAUTY

Fashion
Jul 29, 2011

The pretty packaging of the Tarte for True Blood eyeshadow palette caught my eye when I was browsing at Sephora–one peek inside the pallete and I had to have it. I ended up getting all three Tarte for True Blood products, including the genius lip stain and cheek stain. Below is a demo of how the products look on. Thanks to my sister for helping out with this!

Here is the packaging of the eyeshadow pallette–how cute is that?? In addition to the 17 high quality eyeshadows, it comes with a gel eyeliner, eyelid primer, and mascara.

Here is a look I created with the pallette. I am kind of in love wit the gel eyeliner, it goes on blacker than a liquid eyeliner. Very dramatic!

Here is a look my sister Carol created with it! She is much better at makeup than I am. When we shot these makeup looks, we didn't have the lip tint from the collection yet. In these photos we just used the cheek stain on our lips.

Tarte for True Blood natural cheek stain

The cheek stain is really lovely! If you like a bare-faced look then this is all you need. Its a sheer bright red stain with a shimmery finish. It looks like a natural flush. I've found it to be very long lasting too. Below I am wearing just the cheek stain–dabbed on my lips too.

My sister and I were so thrilled with the Tarte for True Blood eyeshadow palette and cheek stain that we went back to Sephora to get the Tarte for True Blood Lipsurgence Natural Lip Tint. I am glad we did because it's gorgeous. It's a sheer iridescent red stain with flecks of gold in it. Very buildable.

I have to admit that we recently started watching the show and are all True Blood junkies now. We started season 2 last night.

Have a great weekend!
