Michelle Lamy has really cool style, I wish there were more pictures of her. My mom used to wear her clothing label a lot but doesn’t have any of it any more-she says it’s extremeley similar to Rick Owen’s slinky knits from his Lillies line. Perhaps she is more influential on Rick than she’s given credit for…I want to know more about her, her style is superb.

I remember seeing another photo of her and Rick together and you can totally see her full golden teeth smile, it’s amazing. I’m surprised she doesn’t have her own thread on The Fashion Spot.
ummmmmmmmmmmm, there was a whole pictorial about her and him in vogue,,, maybe british?? a few years back. she was a redhead….so this pix is confusing me….they were already living in paris….she talked about how she had to wear his line everday, and how no other clothes worked for her.

I have such a soft spot for women who stack heavy bangles to their elbows. I can just imagine the clicking and clacking that happens when they rest an elbow on a table, or make a narrative gesture with their hands!

As for Michelle Lamy, there was a great article about Rick Owens in the last stile issue of The New Yorker, I might have some scans because I loved it so much.

Yeah, only a few people can pass off wearing braces as cool. Maybe they had a few bling blings attached to theirs, though I don’t know if that is even possible (for celebrities, perhaps). Or maybe their bands matched the color of their eyes, haha!
