NEW LOOK

NEW LOOK

Hi from Korea! I’m so excited to debut my new website. I recently joined the masthead at NowManifest. While the look is new, expect the same Sea of Shoes content. I cannot wait to share my recent finds and travels. This city is overwhelming, I’ve never experienced anything like Seoul. Trying to decide whether to head back to the states via New York Fashion Week or spend a few more days soaking up this amazing city. My apartment in Dallas is definitely calling my name, as are the blisters on my feet. This was my 5:30 AM coffee outfit, wearing all comfy things I’ve purchased here in Korea. Talk to you soon!

Sundress
Wearing Birkenstock sandals, Stylenanda dress, leather tote bag c/o Elizabeth and James

I am leaving for Seoul tomorrow and I cannot wait to do some shopping! First stop Stylenanda, where this lovely dress came from. Packing these comfy Birkenstocks for sure, hopefully they'll cushion the weight of all the delicious food I am going to eat! I actually got them in black too.

Turtleneck

High up in the mountains of Mexico, it was a perfect temperature for this cozy turtleneck. I found this sweater in a little tourist shop. Classic and perfect!

My Cobra Rock Boots from Marfa

My Cobra Rock Boots from Marfa

CobraRock

In March when we roadtripped to Marfa, I accidentally stumbled into a strangle little bootshop. I was soon to find out that this was the home of Cobra Rock Boot Company. Designers Logan Caldbeck and Colt Miller do one boot and one boot only, and its kind of an amazing cross between a cowboy and a desert boot. The boots are in high demand, and due to the grueling bootmaking process and very limited production, I was told it would not be until December that I got my pair. It looks like Christmas came early, because they arrived at my doorstep just a few days ago! Gorgeous!

This Isabel Marant dress from V.O.D. boutique was the perfect thing to pack for Mexico, it is so light and breezy. We captured these shots on a lazy Sunday in San Miguel, milling about the crowds in the town square. We even squeezed in time for an ice cream.

SUNDAY READING-24 hours with Valentino

SUNDAY READING-24 hours with Valentino

Valentino

I am riveted by Bazaar's '24 hours' series, and Valentino's account of his daily life is one of my new favorites. He tours his gardens with his six pugs (Mary, Maude, Milton, Monty, Molly, and Margot), dines alone at a table set with carefully selected china, and calls all of his closest friends at 12 am to wish them goodnight. Can't help but smile at that. Truly an extraordinary person.

LongBraid

If you follow me on Instagram, you will notice I've been really into my ridiculous anime cartoonish hair extensions lately. Having never been one for subtlety I went with the longest I could get. This pair was sent to me by IrresistableMe and I am having way too much fun with them lately–thank you Sergio!

Printed

These 7 For All Mankind jeans are on sale right now y'all! Guest appearances by my Zara bustier and flats, as well as an amazing book of Hajime Sorayama prints found for me by a very dear friend.

Bike

Back on the streets of San Miguel, where I wanna be right now! It was the best vacation ever. Amazing how the city has grown recently.

CarolsCake

This stunning cake was made by my sister Carol a few weeks back for my aunt's birthday. She says she is going to share a recipe and assembly instructions with us soon, by popular request!!

LoefflerRandallBike

The Rider bag by Loeffler Randall is such a great example of perfect design. Looks great when you carry it as a purse, and it looks extra cute strapped to my Bianchi! As someone whose ride has two wheels instead of four, this is very essential to my life…love everything Loeffler to be honest!

NewMusic

A morning record selection and a simple outfit. Tee by Stylenanda, vintage Levi's, and Isabel Marant sandals.
